Idealist-extend is a project funded in the framework of IST Priority of FP6.

Its aim is to reduce the barriers faced by organizations and individuals wishing to participate in the activities of EU Framework Programme 6, IST Priority in particular, by supporting a transnational partner search, and by providing a wide and intensive dissemination of relevant information. As an integral part of the parent project ideal-ist, it represents an extension of focus towards the Southeast of Europe and the Newly Independent States.

Idealist-extend strengthens IST NCP related organisations in the participating INCO countries, trains both these organisations and potential proposers in IST programme related questions, identifies experts for call evaluations and brings potential proposers together at Infodays and workshops.

Idealist-extend and idealist34 jointly cover 41 countries of Europe and the neighboring regions and include Member States, Candidate States and Associated States, as well as Third Countries and International Co-operation countries.
