What is the EUROPRIX Top Talent Award?
The Top Talent Award is Europe?s contest for innovative projects and creative contents for top students and young professionals under 30 using all multimedia channels & platforms.
Who can participate?
Top students or young professionals under 30 (born after January 01, 1975) who live in the European Union (including the new member states from 1 May 2004) or the EFTA; in Bulgaria, Croatia, Rumania, Turkey or Israel; and who work on outstanding, innovative and creative projects.
What do I get for participating?
10.000 Euro prize money (split between the overall winner [2.000 Euro] & category winners [1.000];

All web and internet contents and applications, especially those showing the potential of broadband experience demonstrating high interactivity, global connection, real-time and streaming media, and up-to-date communication.
Offline / DVD
Classic and future multimedia projects with a strong emphasis on telling a story in an emotional, expressive and media rich way.
Mobile Contents
Innovative contents and applications using the potential of compact, mobile and communication-intensive platforms focusing on new multimedia solutions.
Interactive TV & Video
Contents for the new broadcasting of the fully digitalized future involving the user.
Games Platforms
Pulsating contents with high speed interactions, highly involving and giving a rush to users.

What is the Top Talent Thesis Award?
For the first time in its history, the EUROPRIX Top Talent Award also addresses young students attending European universities, colleges, multimedia or technical schools beside their media productions.
The focus is on innovative and young science with a special relevance to practical experience. A special emphasis will be put on the scientific coverage and analysis of the following topics:
- Young European multimedia stars: Success stories and paradigmatic careers
- Case studies of upcoming young multimedia companies
- Economic success with multimedia content products
- Success and failure of multimedia business plans
- Crisis or renaissance of the new economy
- Questions of convergence and divergence of technology, economy, and arts
- Innovation in prototypes for the industry
- Licence problems in multimedia business
- Young spirit & creative industries
Students or student groups at a European university, college, multimedia school, , technical school or any other educational institution can submit their thesis if it is written after the 1 January 2005.
How can I submit a project?
The registration will be organised in two steps:
Online registration of basic data
After filling in the basic data about you and your project (name, university, date of birth, category, product name etc.) you will receive an email with an ID number and a password. Follow the instructions given in this email for finishing the registration.
Registration of detailed data
Using supplied link and your username and password you will login and fill in all the details required. Furhter, you will need to fill in the release form and fax it to the EUROPRIX Top Talent Office, pay the participation fee and send your project (screenshots, DVDs, CD-Roms etc.) to:

How much is the participation fee?
Euro 50 for participants coming from Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Iceland, Israel, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK.
Euro 25 for participants coming from Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Romania, Turkey.
Registration for Top Talent Thesis Award does not cost anything.
What sorts of products are eligible to enter?
Demonstrations and prototypes cannot take part in the contest. The products must have been released and/or published/completed in 2004 or 2005.
